Close to home and a world away

The legend of the Bermuda Triangle gives this archipelago an allure, and while you won't go missing, you'll certainly lose yourself and discover the inexplicable. This tiny nation feels exclusive, yet you'll find island life here is as laid-back and casual as a pair of Bermuda shorts.

GO BELOW THE SURFACE

Hundreds of shipwrecks make Bermuda a world-class dive site. Not scuba certified? Try helmet diving or spelunking the Crystal Cave.

HORSESHOE BAY & ELBOW BEACH

These beaches owe their hue to red foram, a single-cell organism that grows on coral reefs. It's ground by the surf to create pastel-pink sand.

SWIZZLES & SAMMIES

You can't visit Bermuda without trying an Art Mel's Spicy Dicy, a fried fish sandwich. Wash it down with a Rum Swizzle, a famous fruity cocktail.

GET WILD

Spot species only found here, like the cahow bird or buckeye butterfly, at Cooper Island Nature Reserve. Look for Bermudiana blue-eyed grass, the national flower.
